Locating your nest box.
Your nest box should be securely fixed to a wall, fence, shed or tree, between 2 and 4 metres above the ground.
Try and face the front of your nest box pointing between north and east to provide natural protection from wind, rain and direct sunlight.
Position your nest box so there is a direct flight path to the entrance hole without obstructions and away from other nest boxes and bird feeders.
